David Butterworth, organ

Bach’s Great Passacaglia & Fugue in C minor, and works by Vivaldi, Mozart and others.
David Butterworth is a former Organ Scholar of Jesus College, Cambridge. In Nottingham he has been successively Organist and Master of the Choristers of the Civic Church of St Mary’s, Director of Music of the Bluecoat School, and Custodian of the Albert Hall organ.
The Halam organ was built in 1975 by Grant, Degens & Bradbeer, and restored and installed here by David.
